                Laura Lata, NP

Laura graduated from Thompson School for Practical Nurses in Vermont in 1980 and
then graduated from the University of Connecticut ~BSN 1987 & MSN/Adult Nurse
Practitioner Program in 2004. Laura received the Master’s of Excellence Award. She
is a certified adult nurse practitioner & emergency nurse. She is a member of the
Emergency Nurses Association and American Nurses Association
She was born and
raised in Enfield, Connecticut where she married her husband Nicholas in 1989. They
have been married for 20+ years.

She and her husband moved to Columbia, CT where they lived 17 years. They have
2 teenage children. Laura and her family moved to Tennessee in August 2008, where
they reside in Monterey, TN on 30 acres.

Laura and her family enjoy hiking, biking, and just about any outdoor activity. Together
they have hiked all of the highest mountain peaks in New England and New York. They
have also hiked in several national parks in Tennessee within there 1st year here. They
thoroughly enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and exploring our beautiful country.
